Funeral Service Tuesday For Jessica Gartenberg
The 2013 Ladue Horton Watkins High School graduate died Friday while paddle boating in Florida.
A 10:30 a.m. Tuesday service is scheduled at the Ethical Society for Jessica Gartenberg, the recent Ladue High School graduate who died in a boating accident in Florida Friday.
Gartenberg was preparing to start fall classes at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg.
A Ladue School District spokeswoman said students are leaving flowers and other items in front of the high school in her memory. Gartenberg's sister still attends school in the district and an aunt is a counselor at Reed Elementary School.
The district said counseling will be available for students at both schools.
