Post concussion syndrome is common among athletes and survivors of accidents.

I treat many middle and high school athletes, who have sustained brain concussions.  Working with St. Louis area physicians who specialize in post concussion syndrome has drawn my attention to this serious issue.  Not to say that adolescents are the only ones with this issue.  I work with adults who have sustained brain concussions thru automobile, work and other accidents.

Symptoms may include, concentration, cognition, word recall, balance, fatigue, depression and anxiety issues.  The road to recovery may be a slow process.  However, there is light at the end of the tunnel.  With specialized physicians, physical therapy and psychotherapy those with post concussion syndrome are able to be on the road to recovery.

If you are experiencing any of the above symptoms or other emotional disturbances please allow me to help.
