Changing Charges Coming In Creve Coeur Delinquency Case?

City Prosecutor: Marjorie Tomaso "more culpable" for June graduation party.

A Creve Coeur man who was after a graduation party earlier this summer could soon find his wife charged in the case instead.

and according to City Prosecutor Dennis Beckley, made an argument about the applicability of the statute.

On Monday, Beckley told Patch that Tomaso's wife, Marjorie, could be charged under city statutes which prohibit allowing or permitting people under the age of 21 with allowing or permitting alcohol consumption.

Beckley said Marjorie Tomaso "is far more culpable," and was "more actively involved in the party," making the charge "more fitting to what happened."

The charge could come prior to the next municipal court session scheduled for next Wednesday.

A message seeking comment from the Tomaso family was not returned Tuesday.

A celebratory graduation with cocktails leading to arrests? I wonder how many hundreds of parents over the years in Creve Coeur who what the Tomaso's did. Why is this such a big deal?

" city statutes which prohibit allowing or permitting people under the age of 21 with allowing or permitting alcohol consumption." Mr. Simon?, i suppose your as ignorant to the law as the Tomaso's. I guess charge's can only be applied when one of them leaving the party kills someone or themselves?
