Creve Coeur Man Charged In Child Abuse Case

Police say a man struck his stephild with a wooden rod.

A Creve Coeur man has been charged with child abuse stemming from an incident on Tuesday.

David S. Lin, 33, of the 1100 block of Rue La Chelle Walk, punished his stepchild for lying by hitting the child repeatedly with a wooden rod, according to a report. The child had “significant bruising,” according to the report.

Bond was set at $25,000. Lin posted 10 percent of the bond and was released. According to Missouri Casenet, Lin has been ordered not to have contact with the alleged victim and may not live with the victim.
