Creve Coeur Police Looking For Drunk Drivers Friday

A sobriety checkpoint is planned for Friday night.

issued the following bulletin earlier this week:

The Creve Coeur Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, August 24, at an undisclosed location along Olive Boulevard between 10:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m.

This special enforcement is designed to make highways safer and to increase public awareness of the hazards of drinking and driving. By removing intoxicated drivers from the roadways we can decrease the potential for motor vehicle accidents.

Normal traffic flow will not be severely interrupted and delays will be minimal. The patience, cooperation,and understanding of all motorists will help make the highways safer for all drivers and passengers.
