Creve Coeur Purse Snatcher Charged
The suspect in the case was tracked to St. Ann before he was arrested.
A Creve Coeur man has been charged with the theft of a credit card after authorities say he snatched a purse from the cart of a Walgreens shopper November 11.
Creve Coeur Police say Whitney Fields stole a woman's purse and fled the scene at 10941 Olive Boulevard by car. The vehicle was discovered by St. Ann Police and Fields was ultimately arrested near Natural Bridge Rd. and Interstate 70.
According to court records, Fields was arraigned Tuesday. A preliminary hearing in St. Louis County Court is scheduled for January 17.
