Heavy Smoke & Fire Damage At Creve Coeur Condo Sunday Night
Fire officials are still investigating the cause of the fire, but no one was injured.
Creve Coeur Fire Protection District crews responded to a fire Sunday night at the Willow Brook Condo Association when a resident returned home to the unit, saw smoke coming out from the door and heard a smoke alarm.
A Fire Department spokesman said the man entered the three bedroom condo unit, went to the second floor and then got out unharmed. An adjoining unit was evacuated as a precaution but the apartment where the incident originated suffered heavy smoke and fire damage.
