Man Accused of Exposing Himself To A Child Had Ties To The Danforth Center

A sexual misconduct charge in the Brentwood Home Depot was bought last week against Chris Frank, a Ladue resident.

Christopher A. Frank, 42, has now been charged by the county prosecutor with sexual misconduct involving a child under age 15, a felony.

that Frank, of the 700 block of Cella Road in Ladue, is suspected of exposing his genitals to a boy in the next stall in the Brentwood .

 “We took this report back in November and I’m not sure when they took it over to the prosecutor’s office, but they just filed on it last week,” said Brentwood Assistant Chief of Police Dan Fitzgerald.

Derek Rudman, an attorney with Rudman and Smith, is representing Frank in the allegation.

"I can’t go into any certain facts or details of this allegation due to it being a pending case, but I can say that my client adamantly and categorically denies this allegation and looks forward to clearing his good name," Rudman said.

According to Frank’s Linked in profile, he is the owner and president of Cfx, Inc., a St. Louis marketing firm.

The profile also states Frank is a Corporate cabinet member at the  and a board member at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

A spokeswoman for the Danforth Plant Science Center said Frank and Cfx are no longer affiliated with the organization and that all of his ties were suspended when the charge came to light.

She said Frank's relationship with the Center involved a non-paid volunteer role and that businesses like Cfx do participate in a variety of activities, although she said there is no "Cabinet" at the Center.

A page on the Danforth Center's website describing what the Corporate Cabinet does did not describe any specific duties in detail.

It was taken down Monday afternoon.

Also, Jackie Ferman, Manager, Media Relations St. Louis Children's Hospital stated by email to Patch that Frank is not currently a board member at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
