Police: Convicted Felon Threatened Woman, Used A .357 Revolver

Creve Coeur Police said the man isn't supposed to possess a firearm.

A North County man faces a weapons charge after Creve Coeur Police said he threatened a woman with a .357 Smith & Wesson revolver and fired a shot June 18.

Lawrence Bradley, 37, of the 12200 block of Old Halls Ferry Road in Black Jack, was charged Tuesday with unlawful possession of a concealable firearm.

Bradley was convicted of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon in 1998, and is banned from owning a firearm.

Creve Coeur Police said Bradley pulled out the .357 Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver, threatened the woman and fired a shot in the 10300 block of Cross Creek Cove in Creve Coeur.

Police recovered the weapon, bullet and shell casing. There were five bullets in the handgun, which is a six-shooter, police said.

Bail was set at $10,000.
