On Friday, November 9, at around 4:05PM, two Craig Elementary students (both 10 year old boys) were standing in front of a home in the 11900 block of Barkman when an older white male wearing a blue ball cap pulled up to them, opened the door to his grey Lexus SUV (tinted windows) and asked the boys to get in the car.  The boys did not respond and the man drove away. The St. Louis County Crimes Against Persons Unit responded and is investigating.  The information was given out to the surrounding police agencies but no one located the vehicle.

County Police have said they will be increasing patrols in the area and Parkway bus drivers have been alerted to keep an eye out for the individual in question. Your child’s safety is our number one priority and we will be taking time over the next few days to remind students of ways to stay safe while walking home from school or the bus stop.
