Police Blotter: Dozens of Forgery Counts, Identity Theft & Stolen Lacross Balls

3/05/12

Office burglary occurred at 456 N.New Ballas, Suite 386 , over the weekend sometime between Sunday 3/4/12 at 1730 and Monday 3/5/12 at 0830. Front door was pried open, several office drawers were rummaged through but nothing reported missing.  

Identity theft report 12400 blk. of Olive. Victim reported unauthorized use of his credit card by person(s) unknown to him.

Victim reported money missing from her purse while shopping at a store in West Oak. She had left her purse unattended for only a few moments.

3/06/12

Suspect was stopped at Dierbergs for stealing food items.

3/07/12

Assault occurred at the Smoke Shop, 12300 blk of Olive. The victim was punched in the face by a subject he knows from school. He sustained a broken jaw and will need surgery. The suspect, identified as a juvenile, was taken into custody and transported to the Family Court.   

3/08/12

Responded to , 175 S. Mason Rd, in reference to a past stealing. Security officer reported person(s) unknown had taken Lacrosse Balls from an unlocked container left on the field. 

CIT incident. Subject was described as yelling at the leasing agents at Westgate Apartments and then was taking photos of the tellers in . He was subsequently located at .  

The reporting party stated her briefcase containing multiple credit cards, wallet, and car keys stolen from hospital conference room in Tower B.  Occurred sometime between 1600-1700.   

3/09/12

Responded to the the Ivy Motel 10143 Old Olive for a report of an assault. W/M suspect  was arrested after he kicked the complainant in the eye during an argument. He was released on bond.

A suspect was arrested for 24 counts of forgery dating back to August of 2011. Warrants were issued on one count by the St. Louis Co. PA. The remaining counts are under advisement pending review.  

Apartment fire at 676 Tempo Trails. Owner left a steak on an electric stovetop and passed out on the couch. The filled apartment with smoke. He was revived and transported to Mercy ER for smoke inhalation.

3/10/12

Domestic assault 12300 blk. of Country Manor. Father and daughter got into a minor fight over her trying to take his keys. Both arrested. Both released on bond. 

3/11/12

Responded to 12300 blk. Cross Creek Cove for a report of an assault in progress. Made contact with the parties outside the apartment. They got into an argument over dinner before the argument became violent.  Both were arrested for Domestic Violence 3rd.
