Police Blotter: Road Rage, Stolen Change and Auto Parts

A roundup of crime information released by Creve Coeur Police for the week of July 11.

The following information comes directly from the

July 11: Police responded to the Warson Downs Subdivision for a resident who said two mattresses and a big screen television had been dumped at a construction site on the street. Another resident reported seeing a Dodge truck in the area the previous night.

July 12: A resident reported receiving a phone call from someone he didn't know about buying a cell phone for a business. The person asked to meet the resident at a Subway restaurant but did not show. When the resident returned home he discovered a 5 gallon bucket with as much as $700 in change was missing. Police say nothing else was taken and are continuing to investigate.

July 12: Police say a person was arrested at . The suspect allegedly sold jewelry to the store earlier this month which

July 12: A woman reported that her car had been keyed at , by a man who was upset about her taking a parking spot. She had the license plate number. When contacted three days later by police, the man said "he was going to make restitution."

July 12: reported that employees had given auto parts to a man July 11 who said he was from Suntrup Ford. Suntrup representatives said they were not aware of any request for parts. The man returned July 12 with the same request and left when workers started asking questions. 

July 12: A man reported being the victim of a road rage incident in the area of Olive Boulevard and Lindbergh. He said a three people in a red Ford Focus threw something at his car and caused minor damage. Police could not locate the car or the items thrown from it.
