Police Log: A Dozen Forgery Counts & A Drunk Guest

The following incidents were reported by Creve Coeur Police for the week of July 28. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

July 29

Creve Coeur Police made an arrest in a check forgery case first reported last month. The suspect who has not yet been charged, was arrested on 12 counts related to forged checks.

Police issued a summons for a person at Conway Park who had two dogs off leash outside of the park's designated dog park area.


July 30

10 people were arrested in connection with a protest outside the CityPlace headquarters of Arch Coal.

August 1

A man was issued a summons for disturbing the peace on the 500 block of Graeser Road. According to a police spokesman, the subject "wandered off from his friend’s home and then returned to a different home, which he thought was the same one he had left. When he tried to enter, the resident became alarmed and called 911. Officers determined that he was intoxicated," Police Lt. Jon Romas told Patch via email.

Four employee paychecks were reported stolen from King's Cleaners on Lindbergh Blvd. over the last two weeks
