Police Log: Bad Checks At Schnucks & A Swiped Church Purse

Creve Coeur Police reported the following criminal activity during the week of September 2.

September 7

Police say a woman left her purse in St. Monica's Church (12132 Olive Blvd.) and returned, unable to locate it.

September 6

  • Someone threw a metal utility pipe lid through the showroom window at Lou Fusz Mazda (1025 N. Lindbergh Blvd.) in the overnight hours. No estimate of damage is available.
  • A person was arrested on forgery counts after allegedly confessing to passing 14 bad checks with altered account information in late 2012 and early 2013 at Schnucks locations (10650 Olive and 12756 Olive Blvd.)
