Police Log: Car Break-Ins & Fake Prescriptions

The following cases were reported by Creve Coeur Police between April 14-20.

April 19

Police say a person was arrested for attempting to obtain a controlled substance from CVS Pharmacy. 

April 18

  • Two cars were broken into at AMC Creve Coeur 12. A purse was taken from one car and a pair of headphones was taken from the other.
  • A vehicle was stolen at Missouri Baptist University.
  • A wallet with credit cards and cash was stolen from Mercy Hospital.
  • A car stolen from Waterford Downs Apartments on this date was discovered in St. Louis City April 19.

April 17

  • Police say counterfeit cash was used to pay for items at Once Upon A Child. The case was referred to the United States Secret Service.

April 16

Three feet of copper tubing from a sprinkler system from 11630 Studt Ave.

April 15

  • Police said someone attempted to get prescription drugs medication via "fraudulent means." The case is under investigation.
  • A passenger side window of a vehicle parked at AMC 12. Nothing was taken.
  • A resident in the 12000 Block of Royal Manor reported being victim of identity theft, with out-of-state purchases made using bank account information.

April 14

A satellite TV receiver was stolen from a vehicle parked at Applebees.
