Police Log: Dog Bites Man and Ticketing Trash Haulers

The following incidents were reported by Creve Coeur Police during the week of July 14-20.

July 17

Two handheld drills were reported missing from a garage in the 12200 block of Prince Towne Drive after three cars in the area were "rummaged" through.

July 16

Nearly 50 feet of copper wire was stolen from an Ameren facility on Baur Blvd sometime within the last week. It was valued at approximately $750.

July 15

Employees of the city's trash and recycling haulers, Allied Waste and Republic Services were ticketed for trying to pick up items too early in the morning. Police say they were in the area of Olive and Graeser at 6:30 a.m.

July 14

Police say a tan Labrador was responsible for biting someone at Conway Park. St. Louis County Animal Control was contacted, but there was no municipal violation because the animal was on a leash at the time of the incident. The bite was described as a minor leg injury.
