POLICE LOG: Gas Drive-Off Cases and a Lost Wallet

Creve Coeur Police made two arrests in recent drive-off cases. They're also trying to locate a man who lost a wallet.

4/02/12

A suspect was identified and subsequently arrested for a gas drive off and simple assault from

Gas drive off from . Supect identified and arrested for stealing $47.28 worth of gas.

4/05/12-

Police responded to 11477 Olde Cabin for a report of a subject "causing a scene" in the lobby. Subject was contacted and had made suicidal statements during the conversation. He was voluntarily transported to the hospital for evaluation. 

A dark or black SUV unknown make or model hit a red Dodge Intrepid and left the scene. It was last seen Westbound on Olive at Mason. The vehicle was later located on Fernridge Parkway abandoned. Identity of driver unknown at this time. Investigation continuing .

4/07/12

A local resident turned in a wallet he found on Mason Rd west of Hibler Rd on today's date at around 12:00 p.m. Owner of the wallet has been identified and efforts are being made to contact him.
