POLICE LOG: Missing Man Found, Child Abuse and Sexual Assault

The following narratives were provided by the Creve Coeur Police Department

4/09/12

Missing person report. A 64 year-old man left home early in the morning and had not returned. Located later that evening by the Missouri State Highway Patrol near Warrenton.

Stealing report taken in 10000 blk. of Chalet Court. 20 pieces of silver found missing. Turned over to investigations.  

4/10/12

Cash was stolen from the petty cash lock box at 450 N. New Ballas Rd. Ste 266, , between 1710 hours yesterday and 0750 hours today. Door was pried with a screwdriver like tool. 

11 year old male was struck repeatedly by his step father. The suspect was arrested and warrants were issued for Child Abuse.

Leaving the Scene crash occurred on the lot of 12680 Olive. Suspect and vehicle identified and arrested. Driver released on summons.  

4/11/12

A subject was arrested for shoplifting from after he was observed fleeing the area. After a short foot pursuit by CCPD officers he was apprehended and turned over to St.Louis Co. Police.  

4/12/12

Town and Country had a Leaving Scene of Accident on North bound 270 South of 40. A vehicle description was given out to CCPD officers. The suspect vehicle was stopped on Ladue near Ladue Pines. Driver was arrested for DWI and Leaving the Scene of an accident. He was turned over to T&C officers.  

Theft of checks reported from apartment on Wiggins Ferry. Investigation continuing. 

broken into. Blueray player and some DVDs missing.

Stealing occurred in 11900 blk. Old Ballas.  Taken was cash and some jewelry. Investigation to continue.

Subject arrested for possession of heroin during a suspicious persons investigation at the . Released pending application for warrants.

4/13/12

Responded for an apartment fire at 1023 Rue La Ville Walk. Resident stated the stove caught fire while she was cooking.  She was transported to St. Johns Hospital for smoke inhalation. Determined to be accidental.

Burglary in 12000 blk. of Mulberry Tree Ct. Resident confronted suspect who had broken in through basement window. Suspect fled in the processing dropping some of the resident’s property. Investigation continuing

. Female victim treated at hospital. Evidence seized. Suspect identified and arrested, determined to be another patient. Released pending application for warrants. Awaiting lab results.
