Police Log: Someone Tried Setting ATMs On Fire

The following incidents were reported by Creve Coeur Police between August 18-19.

August 18

12300 block of Cross Creek Drive: Burglary occurred on 8/18, cell phone was taken. Subject arrested on 8/19; released pending warrant application.

August 19

  • 10815 Baur Blvd.: Approximately sixty feet of copper cable was stolen; under investigation. 
  • Police say a suspect attempted to use Commerce Bank ATMs at 12275 Olive Blvd. and 1045 Executive Drive with a stolen debit card. The person was arrested for fraudulent use of a credit device and knowingly burning after the suspect tried to set the ATMS on fire with a flammable substance.
