Police Log: A Flasher, Stolen Copper and Cigarettes

The Creve Coeur Police department provided information about criminal activity and investigations from April 1 to April 6.

April 6

  • Subject arrested for stealing over $500 in items from storage lockers at Olive and New Ballas Road on March 25 and March 29.
  • Police say a man exposed himself inside the Courtyard Marriott Hotel.
  • Person was arrested for Domestic Assault in the 2nd degree, Assault in the 2nd degree and first degree Property Damage on Creekside Lane.

April 3

  • Sometime between March 20 and April 3, approximately 100 feet of copper wire worth $1500 was stolen from Ameren Missouri at 10815 Baur Blvd.
  • Police arrested a suspect in connection with the internal theft of 49 cartons of cigarettes from CVS Pharmacy March 29.

April 1

Someone drove off without paying for $111 in gas from the Petromart at 767 New Ballas Road.

During the time period for this report, nine people reported being the victim of identity theft, with out of state purchases made from their bank accounts
