Police Log: Thefts and Brush Fire Make the Incident List

Reports from the Creve Coeur Police Department on area crime and protection incidents.

The provided the following list of incidents in the area for the week of June 3, 2012.

6-04-12

The Police department responded to the second level of the Muckerman parking garage at Mercy Hospital. The reporting party stated the driver’s side rear window of her vehicle was broken and her purse was stolen from her vehicle.

6-06-12

A resident on Chatfield Place reported that she had several pieces of gold jewelry stolen from her closet between May 24 and 28. She discovered the items missing after a Memorial Day party. An arrest was made; no further details released.

6-07-12

A burglary of an office occurred overnight at 450 N. New Ballas between June 6 and 7. Equipment and a camera were reported stolen.

6-08-12

Small brush fire was reported outside of an apartment at 950 E. Rue de la Banque, damaging a privacy fence. The extinquished the fire, cause unknown.   

6-09-12

At 12312 Olive, third level of the garage, persons unknown removed the rear tire, passenger side, of the victim's 2006 Chevy Malibu and left their damaged tire under the victim's vehicle. The Malibu had been parked in the garage for several days while the owner was on a business trip.

6-09-12

Officers responded to 12000 block of Coulange Court for a report of a burglary that had occurred while the resident was asleep in the basement. The resident was awakened by dogs barking on the main level of the house and could hear footsteps moving about the house. A computer, Kindle electronic book and two pieces of gold jewelry were reported taken.
