A spokesman said two people were transported to a nearby hospital Tuesday after a one car accident in parking lot at New Ballas and Studt Ave.
According to Jerry McQueen, Deputy Fire Marshal, the driver in the vehicle said he hit the accelarator instead of the brakes around 3 p.m. and was left teetering over an edge. A picture of the incident on FOX2's Facebook page showed the scene.
McQueen said crews instructed the two people, who had their seatbelts fastened, to stay inside the vehicle until it was secure.
McQueen described them as unhurt, but "shaken up."
