The city of Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission meets at 7 p.m. at the Creve Coeur Government Center and will hold public hearings on the following matters:
- A request for a conditional use permit to place a China King restaurant at Bellerive Plaza. The restaurant would be a 32 seat facility.
- The Goddard School For Early Childhood Development, wants the city to rezone lane currently identified as “C” Single Family Residential District to “GC” General Commercial District. The school's plan to redevelop the former Rose Hill Masonic Temple fell through earlier this year when, according to city planners, the owners of the Temple property, opted not to sell. The new request covers a 1.4 acre portion of 11224 Olive Boulevard.
In addition, backers of the new Saul Mirowitz Jewish Community School appear to have come up with a compromise for signage they hoped to place on the campus of , the school's landlord.
Last month, city officials said they objected to a previous plan in part because it was inconsistent with signs already on the property and in the neighborhood, which also wouldn't allow for light-pole banners.
A new proposal to be discussed Monday shows redesigned signs and eliminates plans for lightpole banners in the property's south parking lot.
