Council Agenda: Food Trucks and School Security

Creve Coeur's City Council meets Monday night at 7:30 p.m. after an extended work session on budget issues.

The conversation which began last week at the city of Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission about food truck regulation will continue Monday night at City Council.

A theme emerging out of last week's meeting was that the city really doesn't know how less restricted allowance of food trucks would impact brick and mortar restaurants outside of the fact that some existing restaurants have stepped forward with concerns.

The subject is on the council agenda for discussion, but no formal vote on policy.

Council members will also consider a three year contract extension for the police department's School Resource Officer program. The officer will split time between Bellerive Elementary School and Parkway Northeast Middle School.
