Council to Vote on Lighted Street Signs at Mercy Hospital

Creve Coeur is planning to install lighted street signs at Conway and S. New Ballas Road, on the intersection at Mercy Hospital.
But before the city begins construction, it needs MoDOT's approval to install the signs on the stop lights at the intersection, according to a Public Works memo. The state Department of Transportation will only consent to the installation after an agreement with the city that Creve Coeur will maintain the equipment.
The City Council will review and vote on a proposed contract Monday night.
The council will also vote on a resolution that four police cruisers to be sold off at an auction either in late June or early July. The vehicles were scheduled for replacement under the 2012/2013 budget, according to the council's agenda.
