Creve Coeur Election Day Photos: Ours and Yours

We're taking you on a tour of polling places and an election night party to show you the day we all shared, in photos.

It is all over.

A campaign season that began for Creve Coeur Patch last spring when Todd Akin declared his candidacy for the U.S. Senate at the Drury Inn in Creve Coeur ended in the same ballroom Tuesday night when Lt. Governor Peter Kinder celebrated his election to a third term, the only Republican candidate to win a statewide race in November.

The votes have been counted, the victory and concession speeches have been delivered, and, thankfully, the ads are off the air. Here's a look at what election day looked like through our viewfinder. If you have photos from the day you'd like to share, you can do that, by clicking on the upload button at the top of the page or immediately to the left of this text.
