Election 2013: Who's Running

The first day for candidates in spring municipal elections to file is coming up next month.

Even though the 2012 election cycle is now a thing of the past, the 2013 campaign season is not far off. Candidates for April's municipal elections for city councils and school boards can officially file for those races beginning December 11.

In Creve Coeur, city council seats currently held by Beth Kistner (Ward 1), Tara Nealey (Ward 2), Charlotte D'Alfonso (Ward 3) and Scott Saunders (Ward 4) will be up for election.

Kistner cannot seek a re-election due to term limits. D'Alfonso and Saunders have confirmed that to Patch that they will seek second terms. Nealey told Patch this week she is undecided on filing but is "operating on the assumption" that she will.
