Election Results: City Council Ward 3

Haddenhorst and D'Alfonso squared off in one of two contested city council races.

With all precincts reporting unofficial results Tuesday night, it appears one incumbent will not be re-elected to the Creve Coeur City Council. Charlotte D'Alfonso won by a decisive margin over incumbent Robert Haddenhorst.

Neither candidate was immediately available for comment Tuesday.

The citizens of Creve Coeur's Ward 3 were finally able to have their voices heard. Many of us (residents) who have been keeping a close watch on our city's elected officials over the last couple years are looking forward to Charlotte D'Alfonso's appointment to city council. D'Alfonso will bring a fresh perspective that includes listening to her constituants, transparancy, adherance to the city's comprehensive plan regarding zoning issues, an end to the "informal vetting process" and critical review of the Olive TDD and City Pension Plan to name only a few. A well deserved congratulations to D'Alfonso for her big win!
