Barry Glantz was elected to serve as Creve Coeur's next Mayor Tuesday, defeating Laura Bryant by a 2,174 (56.25 percent) - 1,685 (43.60 percent) vote margin to end a lengthy campaign, which began in earnest prior to municipal elections in April 2011.
The two candidates, both former city council members and planning and zoning commissioners, have been campaigning for the office for more than a year.
