Fresh Market, Wild Smoke & Church On City Planning Agenda
Creve Coeur's Planning and Zoning Commission meets Monday at 7 p.m.
One week after winning city approval of a text amendment that would allow the city of Creve Coeur to officially consider a site plan with a setback beyond the standard 80 feet off Olive Boulevard, The Koman Group will formally present the developer's site concept for The Fresh Market in front of the city's Planning and Zoning Commission Monday night.
Despite council approval of the zoning code change, the project still faces challenges getting approval, most notably because of the grocer's plan to have a loading dock face Olive Boulevard.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will also:
- Consider approval of a conditional use permit for WildSmoke, a BBQ restaurant planned for the space currently held by Culpeppers. Culpeppers closed in the Westgate Shopping Center on Sunday.
- Consider approval of a conditional use permit for Crossroads Presbyterian Fellowship Church, which wants to occupy a vacant building near Olive and Mary Meadows.
