Glantz Hits Again On Bryant Campaign Documents

Mayoral candidate takes his opponent to task for not taking "ultimate responsibility" for a late campaign filing.

Barry Glantz is calling Laura Bryant, his opponent in the race to be Creve Coeur's next mayor, to take what he called "ultimate responsibility" for the failure to file a necessary report with election officials on time.

. At issue is a 40 Day report which was due February 23. Bryant's campaign has called the issue an honest error and the campaign's treasurer, David Griege, who has been away from Creve Coeur on business, has taken "complete responsibility" for the mistake,

"While a treasurer is important to a campaign, it's up to the candidate," to make sure the document is filed, Glantz told Patch. Glantz pointed to a misstep in his own campaign when a supporter put a campign sign in the right of way on Olive Boulevard. Glantz said he went out himself to take the sign down.
