Mark Perkins Honored With Missouri City Managers Association Award

Perkins has been Creve Coeur's City Administrator since 1999.

According to the Missouri City Managers Association, the best one in the state works in Creve Coeur.

Mark Perkins, who has served as Creve Coeur's City Administrator since 1999, was given the organization's Jay T. Bell Award Thursday night during a conference at the Lake of The Ozarks.

The award honor professionalism, ethical conduct and training given to younger city administration professionals entering the field.

"I am thrilled that Mr. Perkins is receiving this award - and it is an honor to be associated with an individual that consistently demonstrates such outstanding management skills," Creve Coeur Mayor Barry Glantz said via email to Patch.

"Mr. Perkins is a tremendous asset to our community - and a worthy recipient of this award!" Glantz wrote.

Perkins is currently President of the Missouri City Managers Association. He came to Creve Coeur from the City of Blue Springs, where he was an Assistant City Administrator.
