Mayor's Race Mailer: A Point Of Clarification

City Clerk confirms Laura Bryant did not file an ethics complaint with the city of Creve Coeur.

Creve Coeur Patch would like to offer a point of clarification in our coverage of the race for the city's next Mayor.

Patch recently reported on a campaign mailer sent out by candidate Barry Glantz, which used endorsements from some current and former city elected leaders to buttress a claim that his opponent, Laura Bryant, had "wasted valuable city resources by engaging in divisive political actions."

When pressed, Glantz did not provide specifics on areas where he felt that had taken place, but told Patch his supporters

Bryant has declined formal comment.

Patch has confirmed through the office of Creve Coeur City Clerk Debbie Ryan that Bryant has not, according to the records on file, filed a formal ethics complaint against a resident or city official with the Creve Coeur Ethics Commission.
