You've got my vote, Sam. Is it legal for firemen to wear their uniforms while working the polls?

It is unethical, never done anywhere else except in creve coeur. The union board has been successful every time so they vote to let the firefighters wear their uniforms and get sympathy votes. People see firefighters as friends, so they vote their cause. The voters don't realise the trick the firefighters are doing to get the directors they want to give them everything they want. This is the first time that they have to get two directors elected at the same time. If they fail, they lose control of the board. So get who ever you know and lets defeat them now. Vote SAM GOODMAN AND LILI LIEBERMAN on the board April 3.

How many SUV's and take home cars do they have?

We're all for community discussion here at Patch, but everyone's asked to keep the dialogue above board and backed with facts linked out to other sources, especially if we're talking about allegations against candidates running for office. We just don't want this to turn into a trading of barbs. Thanks!

I agree. It is facts and public information. The unions put almost all the money for their elections. Check the campaign disclosure and filings at the election board in a few weeks when they start advertising for their hand picked candidates. Also you may say it is hersay, but I was contacted(I will leave his name out) about not putting my name on the ballot. He said they would love to save the 20,000 dollars. Now they have to double that. I have nothing bad to say about the firefighters, I just believe that we need fiscal responsibility for our voters. The board must be a servant of the voters, not the union.
