Planning and Zoning Panel To Take Up Proposed Apartment Plan Monday

Creve Coeur's Board of Adjustment will hold an additional hearing on the four-story complex Thursday night.

The Creve Coeur Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing to get feedback for a a Chicago based developer's plans for a 174-unit apartment complex called The Vanguard at Creve Coeur.

The property is the former home of Immanuel Baptist Church, 10360 Old Olive Street.

According to City Planner Whitney Kelly, the sale of the 5.26 acre Immanuel property is contingent on city approval of the project. The prospective owner, Covington Realty Partners, needs to have the property rezoned from General Commercial to Core Business. A Conditional Use Permit would also be required for the four-story structure.
