“SOON TO BE A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE FROM NEW LINE/WARNER BROTHERS.

“The emotional and hilarious story of hard-living Todd Cartwright who falls in love with Tami Everett, a woman who literally saves Todd from himself. But Tami's suspicious, overly protective father, Harry, does everything he can to crush the relationship. Todd is not about to give up the greatest thing that's ever happened to him, and goes to war with Harry. But when the unthinkable happens, the men dive into a physical and emotionally tailspin that threatens to consume them both.”

Wow! This book is incredible. Funny, insightful, a unique storyline. Could not put it down, from start to finish….

The story is told in the voice of Todd, a near-alcoholic, womanizing bozo, hero to his peers and colleagues - yet untouched by love in his thirty-something years. When he meets Tami, the thunderbolt strikes and he is smitten. A changed man, as events unfold Todd gives up and decides to go on a weeklong bender at a tropical resort. His almost-father-in-law, Harry, adroitly foils that plan and the two are forced together into a relationship of sorts…almost, but not quite, declaring a truce.
