Charles Glenn Band at Twilight Tuesday

The Charles Glenn Band performs tonight at the Twilight Tuesdays music series, 6 to 8 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum. Go to FreeConcertsSTL.com for information on this and other free concerts.

There's a new website in town, FreeConcertsstl.com, and it serves to not only promote free concerts, but also to raise awareness of the wealth of fine talent we have in the St. Louis area.

Among the many great bands that perform at the bars, restaurants, coffee houses, and private parties around town is a relatively unknown talent named Charles Glenn. Sports fans recognize Charles as singer of the National Anthem at the St. Louis Blues and other sporting events, but I know him as the voice that entertained the guests at my daughter's wedding reception. That was seven years ago, and I've been following Charles Glenn ever since.

St. Louis will be treated to The Charles Glenn Band tonight as part of the Twilight Tuesdays music series from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Missouri History Museum. They will present an evening of songs from and inspired by the musical/motion picture "Rock Of Ages" featuring selections by Journey, Kansas, Styx and more. Charles will be joined onstage by some of the finest musicians in the city. Don't miss this exciting event!
