We’ve seen some busy weekends since starting FreeConcertsSTL.com early this summer. This weekend has to be one of the busiest with three major events that run all three days, Friday through Sunday. There is little excuse for not getting out and enjoying the great weather, music, food, and fun.
Olivette on the Go Festival features carnival rides and a variety of attractions at Stacy Park starting at 4:00 Friday with Reggie VanDerson of Pure Entertainment mixing the music at 7:00. The celebration wraps up with a bonfire at 9:00.
The St. Charles Oktoberfest has several stages going with continuous entertainment in Frontier Park Friday evening from 4:30 to 11. Highlights include Laytham and Holmes; Kerry Christensen, master yodeler; and Smash Band.
The third all-weekend event is Taste of St. Louis, downtown at the Soldier’s Memorial. The Friday night lineup features The Feed at 5:30, Aunyae Heart at 7:30 and Macy Gray headlining at 9:30.
