Three Weekend-long Festivals on Hand in the St. Louis Area
This weekend is packed with festivals and free music. Olivette, St. Charles and Downtown St. Louis play host to great music, food and fun.
We’ve seen some busy weekends since starting FreeConcertsSTL.com early this summer. This weekend has to be one of the busiest with three major events that run all three days, Friday through Sunday. There is little excuse for not getting out and enjoying the great weather, music, food, and fun.
Olivette on the Go Festival features carnival rides and a variety of attractions at Stacy Park starting at 4:00 Friday with Reggie VanDerson of Pure Entertainment mixing the music at 7:00. The celebration wraps up with a bonfire at 9:00.
The St. Charles Oktoberfest has several stages going with continuous entertainment in Frontier Park Friday evening from 4:30 to 11. Highlights include Laytham and Holmes; Kerry Christensen, master yodeler; and Smash Band.
