After several weeks of competition and a whole lot of chicken wings, has emerged victorious in the Buffalo Wild Wings Spirit Bracket Challenge.
Friday morning, students and staff from the school and St. Peter Catholic School in St. Charles appeared on FOX2 for the reveal. In the finals of the 16 school challenge, Parkway Northeast raised $3,164.00 while St. Peter had $2,448.00
Schools earned 10 percent of each non-food purchase, with Buffalo Wild Wings pledging to donate an additional $2,500 to the winning school.
Parkway Northeast administrators say they will use the proceeds to bring Rachel's Challenge, an anti-bullying program born out of the Columbine High School massacre, to the Creve Coeur school.
