Birdwatching at Millennium Park!

This Saturday will be chock full of fun things for the whole family to do and see at Millennium Park! The Tappmeyer Homestead Foundation will have noted birdwatcher, Connie Alwood, take visitors thorugh the park to point out birds of interest.  Connie will also offer tips on how to bring birds into your own backyard.  He recently co-authored a book on birding and is a real expet on identifying our feathered friends.  Bring your binoculars and meet us at the Tappmeyer house at 9AM.  After the event, Laura Dierberg Ayers will be giving tours of the historic Tappmeyer house.  The volunteers who maintain the gardens will be  eliminating honeysuckle in the forest and doing some spring planting.  Feel free to take a gander and possibly get your nagging gardening questions answered.  Questions?  Contact Claire Chosid  314-579-9876 or ckc@conversource.com
