Ladue Class of 2011 Graduates 301 Strong

Sunday ceremony moved indoors due to weather.

Neither rain or surprisingly cold May weather could dampen the enthusiasm of the 301 graduates at at the Fifty-Ninth Commencement Ceremony Sunday night. The conditions forced the event inside the gym, but everyone was in fine spirits, nonetheless.

John Charles Edward Gaskin III gave a stirring welcome, to be remembered by the graduates for years to come. The talented football player, student leader, son of a Ladue High teacher urged his fellow students to stand up, be recognized, let their voices be heard and make a difference in the world. He encouraged each graduate to consider professional careers as doctors, lawyers, politicians and teachers to change the world and be the leaders of tomorrow, today. It was an inspiring address.
