New Principal Named At Ladue Middle School
A Mehlville administrator will take over for Dr. Cathy Richter, who is retiring at year's end.
The Ladue School District has announced that Dr. Vicki VanLaere, an administrator in the Mehlville School District, will be the new Principal at , effective July 1.
VanLaere replaces Dr. Cathy Richter, who previously announced plans to retire at the end of the current school year.
Dr. VanLaere has been in administrative roles in Mehlville since 2006, but has experience as a Middle School principal in that district and in the Union R-VI School District.

In a news release, Ladue's Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Dr. Judy Sclair said VanLaere is "passionate about the middle school years in terms of the importance of both personal and academic growth. This enthusiasm for middle school students, in combination with her knowledge and leadership skills, will serve the students of our district well in the years to come.”
