Parkway North Athletes Sign with Colleges

Some of Parkway North's athletes signed with universities around the Midwest on April 26.

Several athletes signed letters of intent with universities on Thursday. Among the athletes was North basketball player Darrell Johnson, who signed with Kansas State University. Johnson announced his decision last week, picking the Wildcats over schools like Virginia Tech, Memphis.

North wrestlers Darius Lewis and David Evans also signed letters of intent Thursday. Lewis plans to attend Lindenwood-Belleville, while Evans will attend Missouri Baptist University.

Volleyball player DeAndre McCowan signed a letter of intent with Missouri Valley College.

Swimmers Dyanna Schneider, Taylor Voelker and Amanda Stadermann also signed letters of intent. Schneider will attend Lindenwood University, Voelker will attend Truman State and Stadermann will attend Washington University.
