Parkway Students Bid Fern Ridge High Adieu

Fern Ridge High School students and students enrolled in the Missouri Option Program walked away graduates on Friday.

's Fern Ridge High School saw another class of graduates claim their diplomas on Friday. The school graduated a total 26 seniors in 2012.

Principal Rebecca Warren told the audience this year is the school's 20th aniversary. The school, she said, started in 1992 after several years of development.

Fern Ridge is a non-traditional academic program, the school's website indicates—an alternative school where students must apply rather than be sent by parents or the court system.
