Creve Coeur Area Soccer Coach And Players To Be Honored This Fall

Whitfield's Bill Daues to receive the area's highest honor for prep coaches in October as part of St. Louis Soccer Hall Of Fame Festivities.

The area's ability to produce prolific soccer talent on the field and on the sideline will be honored by the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame in October.

Varsity Boys Soccer Coach Bill Daues, who has won 3 of the last 4 state Class 1 titles and was named Class 1 Coach of the Year in 2010, will receive the Jimmy Dunn Memorial High School Coach of the Year during annual Hall of Fame festivities in October.

In a statement released by the school, Daues, who has won a total of , said. “I am honored to receive this award, and this recognition would not be possible without all the past and present Whitfield soccer players who through hard work and effort, have made the Whitfield soccer program into one of the most recognized high school programs in Missouri.”

Current players are going to be honored at the October event as "Future Stars", including Louis Berra and Kailey Utley.
