Some State Soccer Matchups Washed Out Tuesday

Priory, Chaminade and De Smet are all on the road to Blue Springs.

Update 2:30 p.m. Due to weather conditions, the Chaminade-Francis Howell matchup has been postponed until 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Priory-Borgia state soccer match has also reportedly been postponed, according to stlhighschoolsports.net. We will update when we have specifics.

Creve Coeur soccer will be on display in full force Tuesday, as three local teams start the grind of state competition that could lead to state titles in Blue Springs later this month.

The (23-0) continue on the magical ride which has so far been undefeated in Class 2 play, as they host St. Francis Borgia (16-5) at 4 p.m. The winner of that match advances to play Saturday against the winner of St. Dominic (16-9-1) vs. Moberly (20-6).

The (21-4-1), fresh off an , are on the road, literally taking on Jackson (16-5) in Jackson at 6 p.m. at the top of the Class 3 bracket.

The (19-5-3) get the day started, though, with a home match against Francis Howell (20-4) after winning a district title over fellow Metro Catholic Conference foe SLUH. Wins by De Smet and Chaminade would force a faceoff between the two on New Ballas Rd. Saturday.
