Second best?

"Whatever team I'm going to."

  • What are your thoughts on the Rams Draft

"They're in a good spot."

Devaney said the team attempted to move up and draft Alabam Wide Receiver Julio Jones last April, but was thwarted when the Atlanta Falcons "gave up the farm" to get in position.

Without naming names, as some candidates, including Oklahoma State Wide Receiver Justin Blackmon, are still technically underclassmen despite vocal declarations of their NFL draft status, Devaney said the team was  "in a great position" to take a playmaker.

  • Rams moving to Los Angeles.

We don't hear any of that stuff, he said. "There's a commitment to St. Louis."

  • Tim Tebow and the idea of Religion in football.

"This kid is the real deal as far as his beliefs and his faith in God." Devaney said people may not realize that despite Tebow's outward displays, religion is already a big part of the NFL, with teams holding weekly bible study, pre and postgame prayers of the Our Father, and inviting priests and protestant ministers to travel on the road. And those prayers? They're mostly about hoping for protection, with a few exceptions.

"Come on lord, we need this more than they do..not gonna lie," Devaney said.  "But we really don’t’ think God gives a darn who wins the game."
