Friday Night High School Football Menu

The high school football season kicks off Friday night with a full slate of games involving teams with ties to Creve Coeur.

All times are scheduled for 7 p.m. unless indicated. An earlier version of this story had the Rock Bridge/De Smet Jesuit game starting at 7 p.m.

Rock Bridge at De Smet Jesuit (7:30 p.m.)

A battle of two top 5 programs in Class 6 as the Spartans host Columbia Rock Bridge with an eye on avenging an opening week loss in 2012. Check out the KSDK profile of Spartan running back Marcus Jester which aired earlier this week.

SLUH at Parkway North

The Vikings are in rebuilding mode after losing several starters, including the team's quarterback the past two seasons, to graduation. SLUH features Division I recruit Raymond Wingo

Rockwood Summit at Chaminade

The Antoine Torrey era officially launches for the Red Devils as Chaminade has a new head football coach for the first time in more than 15 years. Summit will look to replace the departed linebacker Eric Beisel, now a freshman for the Mizzou Tigers.

Ladue at Parkway Central

The Colts host the Rams in what has become something of an opening week tradition. The Colts boast more than half a dozen returning starters on both sides of the ball and are a top 5 ranked team in Class 5. You can listen to the game on Prepcasts.com.

Kirkwood at Pattonville

The Pirates get a tough opponent off the bat in week one, hosting the defending Class 5 champion in the Pioneers. Kirkwood lost several members of the team that took the title at the Edward Jones Dome but are poised for another run for the Show-Me Bowl.

Priory at Alton Marquette

The Rebels get the award for the longest road trip in week one, taking a trip across the river to Alton. Priory will look to replace several starters from last season who have graduated, including quarterback David Nogalski and running back Thomas Raybuck.
