Mizzou Football To Set Up Shop In Creve Coeur Sunday

Head Coach Gary Pinkel and his staff will host high school athletes from around the Midwest for a one day camp at De Smet.

Sunday marks the third day of a so-called "quiet period" in NCAA football recruiting cycles, but for potential college athletes or just prep athletes looking for a little hands-on instruction in Creve Coeur, Sunday could be an ideal day to make some noise.

That's when Gary Pinkel and the football staff at the University of Missouri will descend on the campus to host one of the program's one-day summer camps. The Creve Coeur stop is the only one in the St. Louis area. The camp also features dozens of other college coaches from around the area.

The camp is open to anyone from the classes of 2013-2016. Past camps have resulted in scholarship opportunities for athletes at Mizzou and other college football programs.
