It all comes down to this.
Despite trailing 3-1 in the series, the San Francisco Giants have won two straight forced a Game 7, at home, in the National League Championship series.
On Monday night at the St. Louis Cardinals will start Kyle Lohse in yet another win-or-go-home game for the Redbirds. The Giants will counter with Matt Cain. The two met up in Game 3 with Lohse picking up the win. The Cardinals didn't hit Cain hard, but a big two-run home run by Matt Carpenter helped St. Louis win 3-1 and take a 2-1 series lead.
If the Cardinals are defeated, it will likely be the last time Lohse, a pending free agent at season's end, wears a St. Louis uniform. The veteran pitcher will likely command a contract the Cardinals are not likely to match given the team's depth when it comes to available starting pitching.
The broadcast airs on FOX2, featuring play-by-play with Joe Buck, analysis from Tim McCarver, along with field reporters Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal.
You can also watch the action at a Wehrenberg Theatre at the St. Charles Cine 18 or Ronnies 20 on Lindbergh, where the games will be broadcast free on the big screen.
You can also listen to the ESPN Radio call of the action on Creve Coeur-based 101 ESPN.
